Criminal and Civil
Terms begin Tuesday following 3rd Monday in Jan., 3rd Monday in Mar.,
May, July, Sep., Nov. Grand Juries, 1st day of Criminal Term at 9:00 a.m. Civil cases set by consent of counsel with Judge's secretary by letter of confirmation or on Term Day at civil docket call at 2:30 p.m. Criminal cases set by Commonwealth's Attorney on designated days. Civil Court convenes 10:00 a.m.; Criminal Court convenes 9:00 a.m. Commissioners in Chancery are utilized in general chancery causes, and in some divorce cases. |
