Court convenes 9:00 a.m.; 10:00 a.m. for jury trials Commissioners in Chancery are utilized in unusual causes; accountings; suits by creditors; suits on mechanic's lien; partition suits; sale of land of persons under disability, some divorce cases. Instructions must be submitted 2 days prior to trial

The land records can be accessed in person at 4301 Parham Road (Hungary Springs and Parham Roads). Indices to deeds and judgments are available on-line from May 1989 to date, financing statements are available from January 1998, and assumed names from 1972 to date. All prior indices are in bound books.

The above on-line records are maintained on the county's computer mainframe and can be accessed from the Eastern Government Center located at 3820 Nine Mile Road.
