Virginia law requires all professional employer organizations (PEOs) doing business in Virginia to

- register with the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission (the Commission);

- annually report their client lists and related insurance information to the Commission;

- notify the Commission of changes in client company status, insurance coverage, and identifying information; and

- pay an annual assessment as calculated by the Commission
