I would like to get a teacher's opinion of this homework, that was sent home by my daughters teacher, for the month of January.

Choose 15 activities to do before the month ends.
Return on Jan.29! Check each box you do!

(1) Make a New Year's resolution.
(2) Write the numbers from 0 to 10
(3) Draw a winter picture using a triangle, a circle, a square, and a rectangle.
(4) Say the sound each letter of the alphabet makes.
(5) Say the days of the week.
(6) Say your first, middle, and last names.
(7) Look at a clock's hands. To which numbers are they pointing?
(8) Count your steps as you walk from your bedroom to the kitchen.
(9) Which is less? 3 or 5? 10 or 6? 7 or 8?
(10) make the letter J into a silly January picture.
(11) Open a book to any page. Point to the words that start with the letter J.
(12) Write your first name.
(13) Say the alphabet.
(14) Help someone fix dinner.
(15) Write the name of someone in your family.
(16) Write your age on a piece of paper.
(17) Count the beds in your house.
(18) Name ten things bigger than a chair.
(19) Write the alphabet from A to K in capital and lowercase letters.
(20) Talk about Martin Luther King. What is a dream that you have?
(21) Put your hand above, behind, and under a chair. Say the word as you do it.
(22) Call a friend on the telephone.
(23) Think of three words that rhyme with snow.
(24) Count all the pieces of furniture in the living room.
(25) Say the opposite of each word: day, hot, big, sad, long, up, and over.

Well that is it. What do you think, is this challenging enough for this new SOL? Oh, and by the way, this was copied out of a book or something.
