2. You should now see a window called Internet Properties with tabs right below
the menu bar. Click on the tab called Navigation.
3. Click in the field called Page and change the page to "Start Page" if it
is not selected already. Now click in the box below called Address and change
the box to http://www.vipnet.org
4. Click on OK and the Virginia Information Providers Network home page will
automatically load up whenever you open up Microsoft Internet Explorer.
For Netscape Navigator versions 1.x, 2.x, 3.x:
1. Click on the options menu in the tool bar. This should cause a menu to pop
down. Now click on general preferences.
2. After that a screen will pop up. When that happens look for the
startup section.
3. In this section make sure to click on the button that says homepage
location. Directly below this there should be a field to type the
address. In this box enter http://www.vipnet.org
For Netscape Communicator version 4.x:
1. Click on Edit in your tool bar at the top of your browser, then
move down to Preferences and select it.
2. Look to the list on the left and select the "Navigator" section if
it is not already selected.
3. To the right and at the top of the page, where it says "Navigator starts
with", select "Home page" if it is not already selected.
4. Look down to the next box below where it says "Location:" and type
in http://www.vipnet.org
5. Now click on "OK" and your browser is configured to load up the Virginia
Information Providers Network as its home page.
