The Virginia.gov Enterprise Online Store solution is an extremely affordable shopping cart system that enables government entities to quickly launch individual stores, as well as contributing inventory to “Shop eVirginia,” a statewide store. With minimal set up, government entities can offer secure online shopping for their products.

Through the administrative area, entities create an individualized “look,” while still maintaining a standard and familiar interface for internet shoppers. Each store has control over many inventory features, including pricing, shipping charges, tax, descriptions and item options.

The application includes payment processing integration for initial authorization of funds, as well as administrator approved fulfillment. By participating in Shop eVirginia, government entities can offer citizens a “one-stop shopping experience” or the ability to purchase from multiple government entities while only needing to enter customer information one time.
