The Commonwealth of Virginia contracts with Virginia Interactive, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NIC for its web development, eCommerce, maintenance, hosting and marketing.

NIC, a leading eGovernment solutions provider, has similar agreements with 23 other states, including Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.
