The Virginia.gov Payment Portal (VPP) provides easy, secure and seamless online payment integration services for Virginia government entities. The VPP modules are capable of processing credit card and electronic check payments.

Virginia.gov offers a cutting-edge technology agnostic option with the VPP using a web service approach. This interoperable interface enables entities across the Commonwealth to integrate services with the VPP for online payment needs regardless of the software architecture or platform. The VPP web service eliminates the need for customized development and integration.

VPP partners can take advantage of contracted discount credit card rates, making online payments an attractive, resourceful and cost-effective alternative to over-the-counter or mail in payments. Partners no longer need to handle cash, write deposit slips or make trips to the bank.
