Since 1998, Virginia.gov has provided the official homepage for the Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia.gov, at www.virginia.gov, www.state.va.us or www.virginiainteractive.org. The homepage provides citizens and businesses a single window to government related websites, information and services.

Virginia.gov is a "next generation" web portal that features a citizen-centric navigational approach. The portal assists citizens in finding their community and local web-based resources. Via the portal, citizens may search for their local site(s) by using the Communities Map or searching by county, city or zip code or by selecting a specific locality. The search results will present the user with information about that locality’s weather, communities, education, local government, tourist attractions, online services and upcoming events.

Virginia.gov receives more than 800,000 unique visitors per month from all over the world.
